Assingment # 9

Dairy Of A Englishman

Day 1:

Dear Dairy,
Today I have worked on my farm for 7 hours. It was so hard and tiring for me since I have a bad leg. This happened last year when I was running from the big wolves in the forest that's near the farm. The doctors here are very bad and they didn't have anything for me to take, so now I have to live and work with it. This is the hardest year of my life thanks to the bad leg I have but I have a feeling that things are about to get way worse because the weather is really bad and some people are talking about the patriots.

They say that they are coming to kill us all or that they will make us work for them. Oh my, they just attacked my house I got to go.They said that they are taking us to Quebec so I'm pretty sure we will make it. I can here their footsteps, one is screaming at me I think he said that we have to join them or leave. The man sounds like he's very big and strong but I think that I should leave from the back door maybe they wont find me there but on the other hand maybe they are guarding that area too.

Well maybe I should just surrender to them but then I am betraying the king. "SMASH" oh my gosh they just took my wife I heard the vase smash on the ground that was her favorite one. I have to help her, but how ? This is so confusing I will take my little daughter and escape and we will be free. Goodbye for now.......

Vow of Silence

Well I am going to be participating in the Vow of Silence on March 5th, 2009.Students in E7A, E7B & E8B will also be participating.

All we have to do is not talk for 24 hours sight.. you can only talk if a teacher asks you a questions of if there is a emergency... So.. No talking, note writing, msning (IMing) of facebooking...(etc.)

The students are trying to help and think about the 121 million children around the world from the ages six to eleven that are unable to attend school.... Two-thirds of these students are girls..

While we are participating in the Vow of Silence.there will be a pledge from for students to raise money for children in developing countries. Miss.Pollock asks you to bring it back by Friday,March 6Th 2009.

Our students are courage to bring white or a plain T-shirt/shirts to school, that will be used to write on in permanent marker to tell other students and teachers that they are participating in the Vow or Silence.
